Dear Parents and Students
I hope you had an enjoyable half-term break.
Health and safety update:
As you are aware, we take health and safety very seriously at NAISAK and as part of an ongoing review of our procedures, we are making some adjustments. Please accept my apologies in advance for any inconvenience that is caused. If you had to say which part of the day poses the greatest risk to students, what would it be? If you said the end of the day, then you are correct. Having many students and parents on the campus at once is when there is the greatest likelihood of something going wrong. As part of our health and safety procedures, we will be trialing a system where we will keep the black doors closed until 13:40 each day. This will allow us to ensure the safety of our students at the end of the day.
From the articles below, you can read about how our collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has supported our approach to STEAM education. We now have 3D pictures of what our labs are going to look like in our new Secondary School. You can see some photos below. We had a regular meeting with all parties involved and made some key decisions regarding the internal furnishings, which means we are very much on schedule to accept the building on 28 May 2019. The Interior Designer for the project will also be travelling to Qatar this week for an additional meeting with the construction team, consultants and our Nord Anglia Project Manager. The Interior Designer will help us with modifications that we will be making to our existing facilities to ensure we make the best use of space across the entire campus.
