Dear Parents and Students
Some of our Secondary School students gave a lovely presentation at our monthly Parent Teacher Friends Association (PTFA) meeting on Tuesday last week. This presentation involved looking at how the community can assist in the service work the students are leading. They also discussed the ‘World’s Largest Lesson’, which initially took place last week, where our Secondary School students led some of our Year 6 students in a lesson that was occurring with students across the entire Nord Anglia Education family. We will look to include the other Year 6 class this week as well in the lesson. I hope you enjoy the article below, which is written by Mysha. Also, please refer to the letter and poster here, which explains how you can help get involved.
You may recall me writing about how the PTFA group has become more formalised and introduced new positions. They are off to a great start and will start having a regular feature in future newsletters.
In terms of facilities, we are in the final stages of completing the Secondary School, swimming pool and changing room facilities. We have experienced some minor delays due to the shipping of some items taking longer than envisaged. However, all is progressing well and we are looking forward to SplusB visiting us in a few weeks to install our five new labs.
