Experimental Learning in Science

  • Science Fair
  • science fair 2
  • science fair 3
  • science fair 4

The first full week of the Spring Term has gone by and here we are, contemplating the end of Spring 1 already. In addition to their usual studies, the Secondary School students are busy at the moment with trips to the Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra, the Museum of Islamic Art and Purple Island. Experiential learning represents a solid extension to their academic learning and helps them develop a variety of skills to become well-rounded students. Excitement is especially growing right now as the students are getting ready for the Secondary Science Fair.

A message from the Secondary Science team…

It is the time of the year again when the students look forward to explore, experiment and explain their scientific learning. NAISAK is getting ready for the fifth annual Science Fair. This year, because of the growing participation and quality of experiments, NAISAK is innovating and offering two Science Fairs: one for Secondary first, then one for Primary. The students are preparing to exhibit their Science experiments but also display posters of scientific facts to widen their audience’s general scientific knowledge and stir curiosity. The event is certainly helping the students to develop their leadership skills as well as their collaboration skills.
