SS Meet the Teachers

  • SS Meet the Teachers

It was lovely to welcome our parents to school on Tuesday 19 September for our Meet The Teachers afternoon. Through the Form Tutors’ presentations and the Q&A sessions, followed by some more individual discussions, it was a chance for the parents to understand the expectations and routines of Secondary School, regarding curriculum, classwork, homework, end-of-term reports, uniform and PE kit, healthy eating, and health and safety. The Secondary School has set very clear expectations in order to nurture the students’ social and emotional development, as well as support and stretch the students’ academic and physical development. The students, and now their parents, are very well aware of the hard work needed to fulfil one’s potential and reach ambitious grades every term, and specifically at IGCSE in Year 11. One cannot stress enough the fact that success at KS4 heavily depends on the consistent work completed since starting schooling. Last Tuesday afternoon has paved the way towards effective and productive home-school relationships.

The Secondary School in particular, and NAISAK in general, are extending their warm thanks to the team of Secondary School students who gave up four hours of their afternoon to support the logistics of the event. They welcomed the parents and ushered them to the correct classrooms. They were excellent ambassadors!
