Following on from the appointment of four Heads of House earlier in the academic year and some Action Research Mr Broome had carried out last year, we felt there was a real need for students to have time together in their Houses, outside of a planned competition. Each Head of House, Ms Clare (Esquel), Ms Price (Murchison), Mr McArtney (Hoba) and Ms Lucy (Loreto) were tasked with preparing a fun assembly that took place on Thursday. Students from Foundation Stage 1 all the way through to Year 10 came together throughout the day to learn more about where their House name came from and exciting competitions that are in store, test out their voices, choose a House anthem and complete some fun tasks. Lots of noise came from the gym on Thursday and the students are certainly fired up for Sports Days this week. We just need the weather to be kind to us now.
