Student Leadership is an important aspect of life at NAISAK. As students progress through their education, it is important that they accept additional roles and responsibilities, preparing them for life after their education. Being a student leader enables our young trailblazers to develop their abilities to make an ethical and social impact within the school and in the larger community.
Here at NAISAK, we have many Student Leadership roles. These include Head Boy and Girl, Student Council and the Prefects in Year 6. In the upcoming months, we will be planning a Leadership training day alongside our sister schools in Doha. This training day will include staff and children from across all our Nord Anglia campuses and will involve team activities which will prepare the students for their upcoming responsibilities.
As mentioned by Deep, our Head Boy, “Being a Head Boy is quite challenging but I look forward to facing the hurdles. I want to to make the school a better place for everyone. Since I like challenges, it is the job for me.”
Our Head Girl, Syeda said “As the Head Girl, I feel like I’m responsible. My role as the Head Girl involves taking responsibility for the Primary School. I want to change a lot of things in the school such as Arabic speakers taking subjects like IPC, music and having more CCTV camera’s. I’m looking forward to making some changes in the school.”
