In this, the final newsletter of a long and busy First Term we would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year, and thank all of our families for their support this term. Hopefully, everyone will have the chance to spend some time with their families and that the children have a rest and come back refreshed and ready for learning in the new year.
Last week was a fantastic opportunity to see the musical and dramatic talents of our FS and KS1 children as they performed their Christmas Shows for their families.
The Y2 Production of Children Around the World packed the Drama Studio for three performances, whilst the Foundation Stage children each did their own shows. Year 1’s al fresco concert in the Y6 Quad, drew in the crowds on Friday, following the well-attended Community Carols.
There are a lot of people to thank on these occasions, but special thanks have to go to Ms Alice, Ms Marie and Khun Gig in the Music Department, and to Mr Shaktim and the Estates Team, who always have to be in more than one place at once in these final two weeks!
As the FS children had worked so hard this term, a special visitor paid them a visit following their shows. We are hoping that he will get the opportunity to come back and visit the KS1 and KS2 children later in the week…
