I qualified to teach in 2008 after completing a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and attaining a PGCE. I have teaching internationally since 2012. Having spent 5 years in Bangkok and regularly meeting the team at St Andrews International School Bangkok, when an opportunity to join the team arose, I was delighted to accept the offer. The forward-thinking department I have joined ensures students are prepared for life and not just their final examinations. The team is close knit ensuring collaboration and sharing good practice are priorities enabling improvement in both teaching and learning.
When not in the classroom, I enjoy playing contact rugby for a local team and coaching the newly formed girls touch rugby team at St Andrews. I also get out into the countryside hiking and camping. This is something I do regularly with my family and also share with the older students when supervising the Adventurous Journey element of the International Award.
