In these early years, every day is an opportunity for astounding growth. Your little one will thrive in our developmentally-centered programs that embrace the principle of learning through play. Safe to explore, each child is supported and encouraged.
learning through play
The youngest members of our community embrace the fun and nurturing programs in our Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten classes. We understand that at this age your child learns through play, so we use a play-based developmental approach in these early years.
Our specially-designed classrooms will allow your child to experience safe and exciting learning both indoors and outside. As your child discovers the world, our teachers are there to nurture, encourage and guide.
We value your role as parents, and your child's primary teacher will work in partnership with you to strive for the best learning experience possible. Together, we begin to lay the foundation for your child's personal, academic and global future.
Understanding that each youngster has a unique set of needs and abilities, we help your child develop critical thinking, creativity and interpersonal skills.
learning in the early years
Underpinning the program for these age groups is the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, focused on:
- Personal, Social and Emotional Development
- Communication and Language
- Physical Development
- Understanding the World
- Expressive Arts and Design
Coupled with these experiences is the thematic approach of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). Created with an awareness of children's brain development, the IPC will help your child make connections and discover the world.
With thematic units on topics such as "All About Me", "Let's Pretend", "Treasure" and "Sand and Water", your child will experience collaborative, active learning. The units provide our teachers with many opportunities to link to early literacy and numeracy skills.
