BISB Teacher Honored for Innovative Professional Development

In the classroom, Alison Yeardley works hard to help her Year 5 students become lifelong learners. It's a lesson she tries to act on in her own life too, and this month, she was honored for that work by Nord Anglia Education.

In the classroom, Alison Yeardley works hard to help her Year 5 students become lifelong learners. It's a lesson she tries to act on in her own life too, and this month, she was honored for that work by Nord Anglia Education.

Alison was recognized for her work to not only expand her own learning, but for her work to share her learning with her teaching peers. From taking MOOCs online to participating in online discussion forums as part of Nord Anglia University, Alison is dedicated to constantly expanding her knowledge of teaching best practice.
