The DoE Gold and Silver Expedition

Last weekend the Silver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh teams completed their Practice Expedition in Bear Brook State Park, NH. The two teams consisted of students from Years 10-12, with the Silvers doing a three-day hike investigating fungi, and the Golds doing four days investigating the wildlife. This was also an opportunity for two of our Year 10 Silver Students to stay on and do the full four-day hike, which they relished with zeal. The heavy rain on Saturday and the cold nights provided excellent opportunities for everyone to test their clothing and equipment! This included the chaperones! (Mr Ng, Ms Staniland, Ms Hernandez and Mr Callaghan.)
