I am originally from Ireland where I was educated in a very similar education system to The British International School of Boston. I am blessed to be married to a great husband and to be a mother to three wonderful girls who impress me more each day.
I really enjoy working with children and have held former volunteer positions with children including: soccer coach, girls scout leader, and Faith Formation teacher. Before coming to The British International School of Boston, I spent five years as a member of staff at a private girl’s school on the South Shore of Boston. I believe that something each child thrives on is, very simply, time and attention.
I am an animal lover and my family has several pets. I believe in recycle and re-use. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and exploring new towns, cities, and places in and around New England. My family stays active by finding new experiences and places to visit. I enjoy jogging and taking part in charity 5ks when possible, and I love to attend my girls’ cross country and crew regattas. I also like to ski and climb obstacle ropes courses in the trees.
I look forward to working in a multicultural environment and in the great atmosphere I see at The British International School of Boston. As a Learning Assistant, I look forward to assisting in creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to our students.
