A staff profile picture

Year 3 Teacher

I have been a teacher in various positions since 2002.  Before moving to Boston, I taught in South Africa, Russia, Japan and the UK.  I studied at the University of Newcastle and London South Bank University.  I have been teaching at the British International School of Boston since 2010 and have greatly enjoyed working here.

I am a keen runner, football (soccer!) and tennis player.  I play the piano and the guitar and love to read.  I also enjoy travelling and have travelled the States widely since I have lived here.

What students say about me

“The thing I like about Mr. Wallace is that he is smart, kind and funny and he is responsible for my class.”

“Mr. Wallace is full of humor; once in a while he will pop in a joke which makes us laugh.”

“I like Mr. Wallace because he makes things really fun.”

what makes this school different

I enjoy the school’s overarching focus on learning and how the children can articulate this.  The school also has a strong, welcoming community which embraces all.
