The sciences have always been the principal focus of my education. After earning a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science, I went on to gain my PGCE with Secondary Science and my UK qualified teacher status. I spent my first year of teaching in the UK before moving to Brazil and working as the head of science in the Nord Anglia Education school in São Paulo.
Through my teaching, I aim to prepare students for life after school, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in life, particularly in the scientific field. My strategic approach enables each and everyone one of my students to access the sciences and make noticeable progress during their time with me. As I start my career at BISB, I will continue to be a student of science, deepening my knowledge and love of the subject daily.
Outside of the classroom, my wife and I make the most of every opportunity to travel and look forward to the travel opportunities the United States has to offer. As a keen follower of sports, I like to watch live sporting events and if that isn’t possible, I do the stadium tour instead.
