I graduated in 2013 from Fairfield University with BA in English and Theater. I then continued my studies to receive my Masters in English Education in 2015. In the summer of 2017, I was graciously granted the opportunity to attend a course at Juilliard in accordance with their program through NAE. I learned key concepts that the program endorses throughout the Performing Arts, and how those concepts can be interwoven into other course subjects as well - such as creativity, engagement, and discovery based learning. Because of this amazing experience, I am a huge advocate for The Juilliard music curriculum at BISB.
My students know that Performing Arts is my forte! I am very passionate about music, drama, and dance. I come from a very musical family and I am a singer in a band myself. I also play piano, guitar, ukulele, and flute. In my spare time, I love to read and write poetry.
BISB is such an incredibly unique school because here we not only appreciate the diversity of culture and experience, but we incorporate those values directly into our teaching and learning.
