I have been passionate about language acquisition for as long as I can remember having always been fascinated by the ways in which languages work, sound and reveal about people and culture.
It was therefore a natural step for me to want to share my love of languages through teaching.
My career began in London where I taught French and Spanish, led a very large Languages Department at The Grey Coat Hospital and qualified as an Advanced Skills Teacher which allowed me to work with a wide range of Secondary and Primary Schools in the borough of Westminster in a supportive and advisory role.
Most recently, I have had the privilege of working in International Schools, initially in Malaysia and most recently in New York. I truly love teaching languages in a context where global citizenship is at the forefront of the school's ethos and I'm delighted to be in Boston and to be leading the languages team at BISB.
