After completing a degree in Outdoor Education I knew that I wanted to work with children in the Early Years, subsequently I completed a PGCE at the University of Brighton
I took up my first teaching post at a school in Brighton, and used my experiences to develop the outdoor space available to the Reception and Nursery children. I was proud to be part of a team that put the children first and worked closely with parents to make sure each child was able to fulfil their potential.

The two years I worked in Hove flew by, and I soon found myself looking for a job in the international school sector. I moved to The British College of Brazil in July 2016 and spent 4 years working in the EYFS department. I was promoted to EYFS Coordinator and was able to develop the department to follow children's interests and work alongside parents to help them understand our framework.
I am now incredibly excited to move to Boston and start a new chapter at BISB. My husband and I are keen to explore what the city has to offer, as well as exploring more of the USA. I love to crochet in my spare time as well as find different ways to keep active.
