Model United Nations

Model United Nations is an international relations simulation for Middle and High School students.

  • HMUN
  • 2017
  • MUN 2018

At Model UN, delegates gain insight into the workings of the United Nations and the dynamics of international relations, by assuming the roles of UN representatives and members of other international bodies and national cabinets. It is an opportunity for students to debate issues that confront world leaders and to draft resolutions in response to these global issues. Participation in Model UN can help to develop team-working and communication skills, using initiative, and working under pressure.

High School Model UN

High School students (Years 10-13) participate in the Harvard Model United Nations conference (HMUN) held in Boston every January. The conference has conducted over 65 annual sessions and attracts over 3,300 students from around the world. For more details about Harvard Model United Nations, visit www.harvardmun.org.
