I grew up in Seneca, a small town south of Chicago, with my four siblings and an assortment of farm animals. There was never a dull moment! I graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration. While at BU, I had the opportunity to take part in their international internship program in Madrid, Spain. It was my internship with one of the top youth hostels in the city that sparked my interest in youth travel and international education.
After graduation, I began working for Hostelling International at their Point Montara Lighthouse property in Northern California before transferring to their hostel in downtown Chicago. After living on both coasts, I am happy to be back in Chicago where I can take advantage of all the city has to offer. Outside of work, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, volunteering with Chicago Cares and trying new restaurants.
