Frequently Asked Questions

We hope to make the clubs sign-up process as easy as possible! If you are not finding the answers you need here or on the clubs page, please let us know.

  • What are BISC-LP Clubs?

"Clubs" are what we call all of the organized activities which take place outside of the regular school day. There are clubs before school and after school, and a wide variety of activities are available. A full listing of currently available clubs can be viewed here.

  • How do I register?

A new registration process takes place before the start of each new term of the school year. Information regarding new listings and upcoming registration dates is always publicized in the school's weekly newsletter as well as on the clubs website.

You can complete your registration through an online form in which you will provide parent/guardian contact information, student information, and select your clubs of interest. For certain clubs, you may also be asked to provide written consent for off-site activities.

The open registration period and the corresponding registration link is always posted and kept up-to-date on the clubs website.

  • I missed Open Registration - can I still register for clubs?

Yes! You can still use the link on the clubs website to register for a club. Please note that late registration requires a fee of $25, so we ask that you please register during the open registration time whenever possible.

  • I registered for a club which I am no longer interested in attending. How do I cancel my registration?

To cancel your registration or drop a club activity your student is registered for, e-mail Becki Blumer.

  • I have already filled out the registration form for my student once, but I am interested in signing them up for more clubs. Is this possible?

Yes! You may use the registration link to sign up for more clubs. Please refrain from signing up for clubs you already signed up for in another form, as it will cause them to occupy an additional space on the limited registration list.

You can view the clubs you have already signed up for via the e-mail confirmation you received upon completing the form the first time.

  • How do I sign up for Studio814 clubs?

This page explains the new registration process for the performing arts activities presented by Studio814.

  • Is my child's club in session today?

You will be notified by e-mail of any changes in planned club programming. If you have enrolled in a club with a paid provider, the dates of the club were detailed in the notice you were sent at the beginning of term. All other clubs are in session every day of school attendance, except for the final day of each school year.

If you are confused about whether club has been scheduled on a certain day, you may e-mail or call the front desk at 773-506-2097 for any questions day-of.

There is a calendar coming soon to the clubs website which will display every single day of club activities. It will also note special activities, such as Taekwondo belt tests or end-of-term presentations or performances. In addition, it will be kept up-to-date with any last minute cancellation notices. We are working on adding this helpful feature soon!

  • Help! My question wasn't answered here!

E-mail your question to Becki Blumer, the BISC-LP clubs coordinator, and she will do her best to answer it for you!
