Lurie Children's Hospital Stair Climb
Supporting Water Aid
Make A Wish Walk for Wishes
Our school community takes part in many local charity events inside and outside of school. We hold various collection drives throughout the year to donate to local charity organizations such as the Chicago Food Depository, One Warm Coat, and Open Books. We consistently have one of the largest and highest-earning teams for the Lurie Children's Hospital Step Up for Kids stair climb each year, and even Barkley the Bulldog participates. Our families also take part in many charity walk/runs and fundraising events.
Each term, the Lincoln Park Campus partners with the South Loop to invite staff, parents, students, and others in the community to raise awareness about important charities such as the Make-A-Wish Foundation or Lurie Children's Hospital. Ask one of us what's going on in the community the next time you stop by our school.
In addition to their local contributions, our students also support charity efforts on a global scale. They have worked with UNICEF on worldwide relief efforts and to raise money to fund educational opportunities for children in need. Most recently, our students took part in service learning projects in an orphanage and school in Tanzania as part of the annual Global Classroom Expedition.
