Pre-Nursery Leader
I was born and raised in West Yorkshire, England, where I studied for two years to become a qualified Nursery Nurse. I then attended Edge Hill University near Liverpool, where I undertook my teaching degree. After graduating, I moved back to my hometown, where I began teaching in a local primary school. I had the pleasure of teaching there for three years in Early Years and KS1, where I gained many invaluable experiences. During my second year of teaching, I became the Science Subject Coordinator for Early Years and KS1.

Pre-Nursery Assistant Director
I was born in Arizona and have worked as an educator for over ten years in Tucson, Seattle, and Chicagoland. I hold two Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Leadership and Theater Education. I also have a Child Development Associate (CDA), a national credential for Infants/Toddlers.
I was born in Mexico but raised in Chicago. One of the things I love about Chicago are summer nights. I enjoy long walks by the lake and family gatherings that involve scrumptious food!
Early Childhood Teacher
I grew up in Michigan, just outside of Detroit. I attended Michigan State University, pursuing a degree in psychology. After I graduated I began working in a local public school and fell in love with being in the classroom. Last year I was given the opportunity to work at BISC-LP and was overjoyed to move to Chicago. The change to a big city has been exciting! It's been wonderful exploring all that it has to offer. Outside of school, you can probably find me at the Music Box Theater!
After having spent my formative years in my hometown of Springfield, IL, I moved to Chicago in 2012. My background is in directing and facilitating nonprofit afterschool programs where I've worked with children of all ages all over the city if Chicago. When not at school, I enjoy spending my free time with family, friends, and my fiancée and our cat, Cleo.
In addition to having a teaching career that stems back to 2006, I’m an also a singer, songwriter, thespian, dancer, and children’s book writer. Ever since I was a child, I’ve explored nearly every aspect of the performing arts and it’s allowed me to have experiences like singing in the Vatican and at orphanages in Cape Town. Being a creative is a huge part of my identity, as a teacher and especially now as a new mom. I pride myself on being a genuine, mindful, and consistently positive person. I was born and raised in Aurora, IL and although it was a peaceful place to grow up, most of us suburbanites eagerly move to the city upon high school graduation. So far, I’ve lived in Pilsen and Uptown. I’ve also worked as a nanny in Roscoe Village and River North. I love that we have access to so many different cuisines in Chicago. I love to travel so it’s amazing that I can enjoy food from another country with just a quick trip to one of the many sub-neighborhoods within the city. Another thing I love about Chicago are the parks, playgrounds and the museum campus. I’m looking forward to the day I can take my daughter her first visit to the Art Institute of Chicago or water taxi ride downtown. Lastly I’m looking forward to a rewarding school year as an Early Learning Teacher for the Pre-Nursery’s “Lovely Lambs”, our youngest additions to the BISC-LP community!
I was born and raised in Springfield, Illinois, and have lived in Chicago since 2015. Some of my favorite things to do include exploring the city on my bicycle, playing soccer, and going to the movies with friends. I consider myself lucky to live in a city that offers so many opportunities to experience and learn about other cultures, and I love to share these opportunities with the students I work with.
I was born and raised in a small town located in the industrial corner of Northwest Indiana. Growing up along the Lake Michigan lakefront, my upbringing was shaped by a loving family and a fun, light-hearted neighborhood rooted in Polish, Hungarian, and Slovakian traditions.
