I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago in the Bridgeport neighborhood. I graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Learning with a minor in Psychology. Currently, I am studying Early Childhood Special Education M.Ed. at the University of Illinois at Chicago. In my spare time I enjoy playing the ukulele and bowling.
I hope through my role as a Learning Resource Assistant I can help students develop a love for learning. With this mindset, students can have endless possibilities and achievements within educational settings. I am thankful to have the opportunity to work in an environment that believes highly in students’ abilities and encourages students to love school.
