I was born and raised in Wisconsin, where I received a bachelor’s degree in history and anthropology from Marquette University and began working in education and teaching. I became certified to teach history and also worked in test preparation, including teaching ACT and SAT classes. Although I enjoyed education, I had long desired a career in the healthcare field and made a career change to nursing, obtaining a master's degree in nursing from DePaul University.
I have loved getting to know the students and staff at BISC-LP and learning more about everyone’s different backgrounds. I’ve felt welcomed here and have enjoyed seeing all of the unique learning opportunities and activities the students participate in. I look forward to continuing to help everyone stay healthy in the coming school year!
