Librarian

I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. Much of my childhood was spent in the Ozarks, where I learned to appreciate places and cultures that are a bit off the beaten path. Since leaving home, I have traveled to and lived in a variety of places. So far, my favorites have been Hawaii, Australia, and of course, Chicago. The cultural diversity, architectural heritage, and wonderful summers make Chicago an amazing place to live and work.

I believe there is no limit to what every student can achieve when they are given the resources and support to follow what sparks their passion. As a librarian, my goal is to help children discover the type of literature that speaks to them and shows them that expression through art has no boundaries. I want the students to be inspired by what they read to find their individual voice, no matter the artistic medium they choose to pursue.
