Sarah Pearce

Assistant Head - Professional Development

I was born and raised in Australia, completing my Bachelor of Education at QUT, in Brisbane. From there, I moved to London to take up my first teaching position in a large school in the east of the city. My love of education along with my love of traveling has given me the opportunity to live and work in many countries, and since England I have lived in the UAE, Malaysia, China and now Chicago, USA. I am enjoying the diversity of Chicago, the access to fabulous food, the beautiful lake and just exploring the rest of the country with my family.

I am a firm believer that there are no ceilings when it comes to achievement and success, and that, more importantly, success looks different for everyone. Every day we should see our students walking into school wanting to give everything they have to achieve their best, and it is our job, as educators, to encourage, support and inspire that drive. It is also our job to help our students to recognize their successes and to build upon them along their journey as learners.
