I am originally from Norwich in the East of England, although I have lived and worked in London for the past 6 years. My love of being active and getting involved in a range of interests keeps me busy. What I love about Chicago are the endless opportunities the city offers. With an abundance of sporting and cultural activities, it is an inspiring city. Chicago also facilitates my love of baseball and hockey, and I am delighted to support the community and local teams. Living by Lake Michigan is a dream, as I am at my happiest being by water. I am extremely excited to be able to live and work in such an incredible city.

    Andrew Gill

I am from Cardiff in South Wales, and I had a range of jobs in International Development before following the route of global education and studying for my PGCE at the University of Greenwich. I have always been deeply passionate about sports, and its ability to help build confidence, support a healthy lifestyle, and allow people to challenge themselves. My favorite sports are rugby and football, but I will attempt and watch pretty much any sport. I have visited Chicago on holidays in the past and have really enjoyed the buzz of the city from being a sports mad town to the arts and not forgetting the food.

    Hope Penner

I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri where I discovered my love of dance at age 5. During my time there I had the opportunity to perform and choreograph for a range of organizations and venues. I was also a founding member of a charity that brought dance to inner-city youth free of charge, and this launched my love for teaching. I moved to Chicago 8 years ago to attend Columbia College and earn my bachelor's degree in Dance. During my time in Chicago, I have enjoyed teaching, and performing for local dance artists.I feel so privileged to live in a city with such a vibrant arts community and it has been wonderful to pass on my passion to the students at BISC Lincoln Park.
