I am originally from Sussex on the South coast of England and have also lived in Scotland and Canada. After a career in the environmental sector, I moved into teaching and gained my qualification at the University of Brighton. Chicago is a very inspiring place to live as a teacher, and I really enjoy the diverse arts and music scenes. I love to cycle and Chicago's topography makes exploring the different neighborhoods by bike a favorite thing to at the weekends.
I care enormously that the education we deliver is constantly evolving and relevant to the lives of the children now and in years to come. As environmental and geo-political issues increasingly shape the modern world that we live in, it is important that children develop a broad and considered global perspective. The unique and global opportunities that we offer, enhance every student's learning experience and equips them with the tools necessary to be successful people in an ever changing world.
