I was born in London, England. I have dual citizenship with a French father and a British mother. I speak four languages fluently, the last being English, which I learned at the age of seven. I have a BA Honors degree in Fashion and Marketing from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts in London. I specialized in accessory design and spent several years working in fashion houses, including Jimmy Choo, Burberry, and Jérôme Dreyfuss. I worked in the fashion industry for four years in accessories, mainly leather and metal work, before going on to study education at the University of Gloucestershire. Alongside my studies and training in education, I maintained my own jewelry line and continued to freelance in design. Since moving to Chicago in 2011, I have met my husband and had two children. Chicago and BISC-LP have quickly become my home.
I love my role in the Art Department. I have always imagined this to be my ideal role and one where I can combine both my love of art and the rewards of working with children. Art is a subject I am incredibly passionate about, and I am excited to share my expertise. I look forward to developing the skills and creativity of future talented artists.
There is no limit to what every student can achieve. I believe that if a child is given the tools and skills in which to use something, the outcomes will always surpass your expectations.
