I was born in London, England. I have dual citizenship with a French father and a British mother. I speak 4 languages fluently, the last being English, which I learned at the age of 7. I have a BA Honors degree in Fashion and Marketing from Central Saint Martins, University of the Arts in London. I specialized in accessory design and spent several years working in fashion houses including Jimmy Choo, Burberry and Jérôme Dreyfuss. I worked in the fashion industry for 4 years in accessories, mainly leather and metal work, before going on to study education at the University of Gloucestershire. Alongside my studies and training in education I maintained my own jewelry line and continued to freelance in design. I have since started silk screening my own fabric and restoring and reupholstering furniture. I have been at the British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park since January 2011, and I am very excited to be in my new role as Primary Art Leader. I have always imagined this to be my ideal role and one where I can combine both my love of art and the rewards of working with children. Art is a subject I am incredibly passionate about, and I am excited to share my expertise. I look forward to developing the skills and creativity of future talented artists.
