About Juan

Having recently moved from Texas, I am still adjusting to living in Chicago and everything it has to offer. I enjoy exploring the different neighborhoods and trying out different restaurants that I haven’t been to. When the weather is nice, I like to go to the beach and play volleyball or just relax in the sun. I enjoy going to the various music festivals that happen throughout the year and to the excellent theater productions that the city has to offer.

Having always been interested in the various cultures that exist throughout the world, I received my Bachelors of Art degree in Anthropology with a minor in Spanish. After I graduated college, I worked for a human rights organization where I got to work and make friends with amazing people that really made a positive impact on the participants that we worked with.

Having just joined The British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park team, I am hopeful that I will be able to make a good impact and learn as much as possible so that I can become a vital member of the staff.
