This week a group of high school students studying German visited the Christkindlmarket in Daley Plaza. The trip gave them the chance to speak German in a real-life situation. We encouraged them to speak German in all situations at the market, from buying food and gifts and exchanging pleasantries, to general conversation. It was also a fantastic setting to get a feel for German culture and traditions. Of course, great fun was had by all!
