On Monday, April 20, BSC students were treated to an amazing acrobatic show by the Jesse White Tumblers, a Chicago tumbling team that has been performing since 1959. The Tumblers, founded by Secretary of State Jesse White, agreed to come perform at the British School after Sec. White's visit earlier in the year to discuss food deserts and the school's "Make It Right" campaign.

Global Classroom representatives Quinton Aguilera and Georgia Scarr introduced Sec. White and a member of the tumbling team who spoke about his own experience with growing up in a food desert. They were even included in one of the gymnastic routines! The team performed two shows for BSC students, and everyone was very impressed by their skill and dedication.

We'd like to say a big thank you to Sec. White and the Jesse White Tumblers for coming to our school and putting on such an exciting performance for our students and staff!
