College Counseling

Personalized attention from faculty and staff allows our students to develop the educational knowledge and skills necessary to apply and transfer comfortably to a higher education community best suited to their needs and interests.

Our Director of College Counselling, Ms. Lindsay Kafitz, and Associate School Counselor, Anne Economakos, begins to chronicle your child’s journey and preferences in Year 10 (Grade 9) when they first meet to discuss academic course selection as well as extracurricular and potential career interests.

College Counseling Timeline

Download our college counseling timeline for High School students. Throughout Years 10-12 (Grades 9-11), Ms. Kafitz works with you and your child individually and in group settings to discuss and develop a long-term, individualized plan for standardized testing and college selection and admissions.

Taking your child’s interests, skills, standardized test scores and academic record into account, Ms. Kafitz meets with your family again at the end of Year 12 (Grade 11) and beginning of Year 13 (Grade 12) to discuss your child’s college selections and the college application process.
