Our two libraries support students’ learning throughout their years at BISC South Loop. Primary children visit the library every week to check out books, listen to stories, and learn valuable research skills. Students in Secondary School use the library to study, research and work collaboratively with peers.
Both libraries feature a vast array of books and unique sections. These include The Juilliard-Nord Anglia Performing Arts Program and the Global Library, which houses a curated selection of books read by students at Nord Anglia Education schools around the world. We also offer access to multiple research databases, like Churchill Archives for Schools, Encyclopedia Britannica, JSTOR and Vocab Express. Current families can log in to the Parent Portal to retrieve the school username and passwords for these websites.

Our families can browse the library collection, find reading lists, and digital resoursces with Follett Destiny. There are two ways to access our eBook collection: visit https://biscsl.follettdestiny.com or download the free Destiny Discover app. Students will need their username and password to access our digital library materials; see Danielle Johnson, School Librarian, for assistance.
