I have an associate’s degree in computer network engineering and a bachelor’s degree in information system security. I previously worked at a Chicago game developer for five years as their I.T. Specialist. During my time there I honed my skills, and also created new skillsets based on the game industry, which were hardware-specific to Microsoft and Sony. I also became familiar with proprietary software that was designed in-house by the engineers.
I’m a proud uncle of two nephews and one niece, plus a gamer, hip hop disciple, audiophile, avid movie watcher, anime enthusiast, I.T. professional, and all around technology buff.
I feel BISC is a unique place to work because of the way we take advantage of technology. Back when I was in school I didn’t have the opportunity to learn 3D design, graphic design or the Microsoft Office suite, among others. I’m always amazed by the students’ Design Technology projects - you never know if they’ll be responsible for the next big technological advancement.
