I studied Spanish and Italian at the University of Durham, where I spent a year in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. I really enjoyed the challenge of moving to a country on the other side of the world where they didn’t speak the same language. When I was in Barcelona, I worked as an estate agent and English Teacher, which is where my passion for teaching began.
When I graduated, I worked in public relations for a small sports agency in London. I loved working in an corporate environment and promoting different sports, but the call of teaching lured me back. I completed my Post Graduate Certificae in Education in Modern Foreign Languages at University of Roehampton. My education and previous teaching positions allowed me to experience a variety of schools in London, including two years at an Academy in West London. I am excited to live abroad and cannot wait to work in such a prestigious school.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing netball with my team, traveling and going out with friends. Some other things about me: my favorite sports include rugby, skiing and netball; my favorite traveling memory is being the audience participant at the Robot Show in Tokyo last summer, and I once skydived.
