I grew up in a binational French-English family in Brittany (Northwestern France). I stayed in France for my Undergraduate studies, then worked in Tourism, Import and Export for a few years, including a role for a shipping company in South Africa. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Education at the University of Cambridge, followed by a Masters of Education. My Masters thesis focused on third language acquisition for pupils with English as an Additional Language, which was inspired by my own experience as a bilingual learner. I started my teaching career in Secondary Schools, then switched to Primary with my latest teaching role before joining BISC South Loop being in a Prep School in Knightsbridge, London.
I love traveling and enjoy exploring the Chicago area, and other fascinating sites in North America. I used to do a lot of horse-riding when I was younger, particularly Eventing. These days, I still enjoy riding every now and then. I would love to use the opportunity of living in the United States to learn Western Riding!
