Jack Bartlett

British International School of Chicago, South Loop | Private School Chicago

Physical Education Specialist | Head of Year 7

Sport has always been an important part of my life; I enjoy coaching, playing and watching as much sport as possible!

I played semi-professional soccer in the Southern Premier League in England, was Head Soccer Coach at a school in London, and also coached two youth soccer teams. I led my High School teams to the latter rounds of the UK National Schools Cup and the London Cup. I have also played and coached volleyball.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Sports Coaching and Sport Development at University of Gloucestershire before studying a postgraduate certificate in Physical Education at University of Chichester. I have now been a qualified teacher for four years, and previously was Assistant Head of the P.E. Department and Head of Soccer.

Outside of school, I play rugby, cricket and badminton. I also enjoy socializing with friends, visiting museums and traveling. I am a huge fan of Southampton FC and last year watched a soccer match in every professional stadium in London.
