“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.” – John F. Kennedy

Dear Parents,

Our student leadership elections took place last week in MK Primary. There was a real buzz around the place as students have been sharing their ideas on how to make our school even better. I have been astounded by the number of students who put themselves forward to represent their class and the school. These students presented their proposals in an enthusiastic and confident manner whilst their classmates and House peers listened intently and responded with insightful questions.

The Primary school council was announced and presented during this Thursday’s assembly.

They are as follows:

Year 6
Faisal Melhim and Elias Van Doren

Year 5
Rosie Phillipos and Graham Wing

Year 4
Haleema Jehan and Nivedha Krishna

Year 3
Zara Devaya and Idela Mohsin and Layla rohani

Year 2
Lojain Al-Kuwari and Habiba Badawy

We were also proud to present our House Captains:

North – Gabriel Wong

East – Olivier Westerhoven

South – Diego Cordeiro

West – Bruno Patzer

Congratulations to these students and a huge thank you to all that volunteered for the role. For those students not successful, there will be a number of additional leadership opportunities for all ages linked to our Global Campus Challenges throughout the year.

Have a great week,

Jimmy Frawley
