UN Global Challenge

21 June 2017

  • UN challenge

During the academic year, our students have been supporting the UN Global Goals for Sustainable Development as part of the Global Challenge on Global Campus.  A team of 8 Year 10 students led our efforts by tackling Global Goal 3 – Good Health and Well-being and two students, Lamis Bareche and Ananna Amin were selected to represent our school at the UN High Level Political Forum in New York during July.  As part of their preparation, they were asked to produce a video letter which would be shown at the forum and had to be sent to Qatar’s UN representative.  I’m delighted to provide the link for the video which was emailed to the Global Campus team and UN representative, Her Excellency, Ms. Alya Ahmed Saif Al-Thani.
