Madinat Khalifa Year 5 Trip to Qatar Stock Exchange

"I thought that yesterday’s trip to the Qatar Stock Exchange was very interesting. The host and staff were very welcoming and nice. They explained all about money and how a business works and makes a profit. Mr Samer (the host) gave us lots of fun activities and challenges to do such as, creating posters about different companies and doing a presentation about it. We had to persuade the audience to buy shares in our company. He taught us that the biggest risk in the money world is not to take any risks. We also got to watch the live stocks of different companies go up and down. They provided a lovely buffet for us which was very delicious. This was one of the best trips that I have ever been on and I would love to go back to learn more."
