Qatar National Day Celebrations

Compass International School Doha would like to extend our warmest wishes to you on Qatar National Day.  

In the build up to Qatar National Day on 18 December, each campus celebrated their love for our home country with a number of special activities including assemblies, Arabic breakfasts, class events and quizzes. Our students and their parents had many opportunities to find out more about Qatari culture. 

The Qatar National Day assemblies were fantastic celebrations of the Qatari culture and traditions and the children all performed their roles with poise and great dignity. It was inspiring to see so many members of our school dressed in the national colours of Qatar. Our Qatari students were so proud to share their feelings about their homeland.

The Arabic breakfasts again proved to be a great way to bring children together and socialise in a different way than normal.

The warmth and generosity of the parents and children who have contributed to these special celebrations is truly appreciated. Thank you to our wonderful school community, our talented children and staff for helping us make the celebrations such a fantastic success.

In particular, thank you to our hard-working and wonderful Arabic departments at each campus for organising such fantastic celebrations.
