I hope you and your families have had a fantastic summer break.
Firstly, a huge thank you to all of our families for the fantastic attendance at our Welcome Presentation and individual class teacher meetings. Establishing strong relationships between school and home is vital in ensuring all students achieve their potential. If you haven’t already, I urge you to connect with your child’s class through Class Dojo, this a great tool to find out more about your child’s learning and upcoming events in class and across the school.
We also look forward to welcoming our families into school for our ‘School in Action’ morning. This is a great opportunity for you to participate, along with your child, in lessons from across the Primary curriculum. This will take place on Tuesday, 17th September between 7:30 am – 9:30 am. Tea and coffee will be available in the reception area before and after each session.
We have also welcomed a number of new teachers to our Primary Team; Miss Curran in Year 1, Mr Atkinson in Year 4 and Miss Colleary, Mrs Welch and Mr Regan in the PE department. We also welcome Mrs Chonkar and Mrs Pasonssain who have joined our team of Learning Assistants. I know that these additions will further enhance our provision of high-quality learning at Madinat Khalifa.
