Eid Holiday Update

Dear Parents

We are sure you are aware, the Amiri Diwan and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education has announced that the Eid holiday will begin on Sunday 1^st May and end on Monday 9^th May. Compass will be following the instructions of this announcement as required. Therefore, the first day back at school after Eid will now be Tuesday 10th May.

For students in Year 11, Year 12 and Year 13 students who are sitting their external IGCSE, AS, A Level or IB examinations these will continue as timetabled during the holiday period. There will be no changes to this schedule as it is set internationally by examination boards and cannot be moved.

After the Eid holiday on Tuesday 10th May, we will be returning to the pre-Ramadan normal school hours as planned. Your Headteacher/Head of Campus will send further full details towards the end of this holiday period.

كما تعلمون ، قد أعلن الديوان الأميري أن عطلة عيد الفطر المبارك ستبدأ يوم الأحد 1 مايو وتنتهي يوم الاثنين 9 مايو. ستتبع كومباس العطلة كما أعلن من الديوان الاميري ووزارة التربية و التعليم و التعليم العالي. لذلك ، سيكون اليوم الأول للعودة إلى المدرسة بعد العيد هو الثلاثاء 10 مايو..

بالنسبة للطلاب في الصفوف 11 و 12 و 13 الذين يجرون امتحانات خارجية

IGCSE أو AS أو A Level أو IB  

فإنهم سيستمرون وفقًا للجدول الزمني خلال فترة العطلة. لن تكون هناك تغييرات على هذا الجدول حيث تم تحديده دوليًا من قبل مجلس الإختبارات ولا يمكن تغييره.

بعد عطلة العيد يوم الثلاثاء 10 مايو ، سنعود إلى ساعات الدراسة العادية قبل رمضان كما هو مخطط. سيرسل مدير المدرسة  مزيدًا من التفاصيل في نهاية العطلة.
