The IB Diploma presents a variety of challenges for  students. They must follow six subjects, complete an extended essay, and a Creative, Activity, Service section (CAS), as well as study a "Theory of Knowledge" course which promotes critical thinking and analysis.

At age 16 and above (Years 12 and 13), students can apply to study for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). This two-year course is a balanced academic programme, building confidence and leadership as well as broadening the students’ understanding of world cultures.
