Originally from Ireland, I completed my PGCE in Primary English Education at Edge Hill University, Liverpool, in 2015. I continue to live and teach in Liverpool. I have spent the past three years teaching in Year 2 with additional responsibility for Science. I recently completed KS1 moderation training and supported moderation across the local authority.
I am excited to commence my new international teaching role at Gharaffa. I hope to make the most of living in the Middle East and I look forward to spending some of my holidays travelling. Thailand and Sri Lanka and are top of the list!
During my spare time I love to run and I am currently training for the Race for Life in June to raise funds for cancer research. I also enjoy reading, yoga and spending time with family and friends. Growing up in rural Ireland with farming grandparents, I have a natural love for animals. I also have two beautiful Cavalier King Charles spaniels called Milly and Molly at my family home in Ireland. Couldn’t resist the picture! I look forward to meeting you all in August to kick start this new adventure!
