English as an Additional Language (EAL) Coordinator

I am originally from Ireland but have lived and worked in Qatar for over 6 years. I obtained my Postgraduate Certificate in Education in 2015, through the University of Sunderland. While living in Qatar, I have worked in two international schools and I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to work with Compass International School Doha in August 2018.

It is a pleasure to be the Primary EAL Teacher, where I support students who are learning English as an additional language. As part of my role, I teach small intervention groups as well as providing teachers with in-class support. We are lucky enough to have a diverse range of nationalities and languages in our school, which we love to celebrate throughout the year.
