I studied Geography and Linguistics in University College Dublin followed by a Masters in Geography and a PGDE in education. Upon graduation I moved to the UK, to work in schools in Peterborough, just north of London where I spent two years getting to grips with the British curriculum.
In search of a new adventure I moved to Qatar in 2016 and worked in Nord Anglia International School Al Khor for two years. I fell in love with Qatar and decided to remain so moved to Compass International School Doha in 2018. Since moving abroad I have also completed a further degree in History and look forward to learning more in the future.
I have run the Global Campus for the past three years and given students all the opportunities that involves. I introduced the Duke of Edinburgh International Award to Nord Anglia International School Al Khor and took that experience to Compass to take over the Duke of Edinburgh International Award in Compass in 2019.
I have a love of travel and adventure and am generally found out on the water, kayaking, sailing, snorkelling or swimming in my spare time.
