Emma Waldron

French and Spanish Teacher

I studied French and Spanish at the University of Chester. During my year abroad, I was lucky to spend time teaching in Valencia and Guérande where I worked as an English Language Assistant. After studying and working abroad, I returned to the UK to complete my final year of my degree. Having loved working in France, I embarked on a two year journey which was spent living in Paris where I worked in a school and really realised my love and passion for teaching.

Subsequently, I returned to the UK where I completed my PGCE and secured a job working in Newcastle Upon Tyne working as a French and Spanish teacher. Over the past 4 years, I have had the opportunity to complete my MA in Pedagogy alongside working and I have really fostered my love of teaching and strengthened my love of Languages.

In my free time I love to travel and explore new cultures, which is why I am excited to move to Doha in August. I also love keeping fit, trying new things and spending quality time with my family and friends. I am also a keen football supporter, dog lover and enjoy spending my time on walks and in the countryside. I am really excited to move to Doha and to experience a new way of life and culture.
